ALI Sanatorium has been closed since 2003 because the
building is in a very bad condition, plasters
are falling and the whole sanatorium has become
too risky to live in, Locals say that the Trust
after earning lakhs of Rupees Daily does not care
for the Dargah or the Sanatorium nor the Masjid
and hence there is a court case going on the TRUST.
How was the Sanatorium..
There was a Sanatorium in the complex of the Dargah
consisting of 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms, hall and kitchen.
These rooms were allotted to the residents of
Mumbai and vicinity as a transit accommodation
at very nominal rates of Rs. 600 to Rs. 300 per
month for a maximum period of 3 months from the
sources of income from the donation boxes.
